We look at revision advice from pages 114-115 in Bovee and Thill.
You should have a hard copy of your Nomination Letter.
You'll read two drafts and provide audience feedback.
Homework:
1. Revise your letter. Hard copy due Monday in class.
2. Look at this Prezi: http://prezi.com/kivylhim8stb/?utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=copy&rc=ex0share It is a review of how conjunctions create both compound and complex sentences. It explains some different nomenclature as well.
3. Create 10 sentences. Five of them should be compound; five of them should be complex. [You may re-use the same clauses with different conjunctions, like the Prezi does, if you wish.] Bring to class Monday.
